You Cannot Understand

Do you really have no place stating IDEAL situations when they are not your reality?

“You Cannot Understand.”

Many people say these words to you and you really cannot understand.

Not what they are going through or the issue at hand but why they believe that you can’t feel what they feel or understand how it can be.

Ideal situations are those that you just expect to be the norm. Like how every child is expected to go to school and be tutored from a particular age.

Then, maybe one child you know does not go to school at all and is well past the expected age of enrollment.

Now, that is the child’s reality. My question however is “Should the child not talk about school or what goes on there?”

Should the child not have expectations and have standards that rule actions they may or may not take in the future?

Reality, especially present situations, try to rub people of the facts present in Ideal situations.

You can talk about marriage and what it should look like even when you are still HEAVILY SINGLE.

You shouldn’t have to back down because it is not your reality yet.

You can talk about business like you are a pro, even if you are not where Bill Gates is just yet.

Ideal situations fuel how the world is run. Ideals should not be lost at all.

You can talk about what an independent young adult should be doing even if your reality is not totally in line with it.

In my opinion, it puts you on the right track and helps boost your confidence.

Not that you have blind faith, but you propel courage in yourself and help yourself stand tall in the face of difficulty.

Take a cue from people who barely learn from experience (we really need experience sometimes) and still do so well in their fields.

It is because they have mastered the art of understanding ideals and working towards them.

They rarely settle for less.

Ideals help you know your right from your left, your ‘right’ from ‘wrong’.

Will there be times when thinking of the ideals would almost make you angry about your reality, YES.

Can it help you change that reality, YES!!!!

WE KEEP MOVING!!!!!
