The “WAITING” Knowledge

You only see the truth when you wait

Something I have found quite captivating is how rewarding waiting can be. Waiting for a call, waiting to eat lunch and more importantly, waiting for the right time to take action.

I’m not going to bore you by making this too long but just flow with me. Thanks (😊).

Waiting for things to happen while preparing for those things is one of life’s journies that actually teaches you a lot. The patience that comes with the understanding that you can have a thing right now but because it has not matured, you need to wait for it, is something that needs to be studied.

Now, waiting can drive you nuts and it can also keep you sane. But, waiting and planning while you wait would always make sense. Waiting and keeping your gaze on a thing while putting things in place is what makes you claim that particular thing.

I want to give an analogy that many wouldn’t like but would agree with regardless. There is a presidential candidate that’s ready to RULE Nigeria from 2023. As Nigerians, we kinda already know that the chances of this man winning is high. What many do not consider however is how long he waited and how much he had planned towards his dream or goal.

I heard a breakdown of how he had walked his way through politics all the while that he had not been in any governmental position. He had prodigies that he had placed in different places while waiting for his harvest.

Not to sound negative or burst bubbles, if there is no one that has invested more time and years into planning this move as he has, there is a high chance that he’d move forward undefeated.

It’s probably not what you want to hear right now but that’s how life can be most times.

Waiting is great, waiting and planning is the best you can ever do. Now, waiting, in the hands of a wrong person, can cause mighty waves of disappointment to move a nation.

In essence, the knowledge of waiting should be of interest to many, especially for people with good intentions. Weird people know that when they wait, they’d get the fattest bone.

Why aren’t the good ones doing it or do they just turn bad from waiting too long?
