Close To Home

Too close to deny

A little over a year ago, the pandemic started and had the whole world on a lockdown.

Not a lot of people believed that the virus existed and felt the government was just doing another regular rubbish.

Till people started seeing their freinds and family members get the virus.

People saw major changes they could not avert happen. Lifestyle changes everyone had to subscribe to whether they wanted to or not.

But, after a while, things began to take their former shape although with a twist this time. Businesses and schools were open but with strict rules of social distancing and protection.

It still didn’t hit home for a couple of people around till it came too close.

My school is currently facing the heat of this virus with many hostels being affected.

It was real before to me, very much real. But, it just became ‘realer’ in a sense.

It feels more like the sound a gong makes. You can hear it from a far distance and the sound is actually real. But, when someone plays it right next to you, it’s reality is one that you do not only just accept but have to dance to.

WEIRD!!!!!
